Import
Copy the file from your reader to your phone first (Google Drive or a USB cable both work), then pick it below. Importing again later only adds what’s new, and a passage already imported from another source isn’t added twice.
Kindle
- Open the
Kindledrive, then thedocumentsfolder. - Choose
My Clippings.txt.
Kobo Libra Colour
- Open the
KOBOeReaderdrive. The folder you need is hidden. - Mac: press
Cmd ⇧ .in the file picker. Windows: View → Show → Hidden items. - Choose
.kobo/KoboReader.sqlite.
Readwise or any CSV
- Readwise: open
Exportfrom your account menu on readwise.io and chooseExport to CSV. - Any spreadsheet: a column of quotes plus a column for the book works. Columns named
Highlight(orQuote),Title,AuthorandNoteare picked up automatically. - Pick the
.csvfile here.
